About
Our Story
The West Shore Inn has been a Staten Island staple since 1964, founded by NYC firemen Tom and Harry, who boldly opened a steakhouse in the then-undeveloped Travis neighborhood. Their commitment to quality and community has endured for over 60 years.
In 2011, Michael and Jessica Strickland took ownership, elevating the Inn's reputation for top-notch steaks and seafood. Executive Chef Armando Mendez, with over 30 years at the Inn, ensures culinary excellence, while General Manager Lauren Palmieri, who joined in 2015, oversees front-of-house operations. Dining with us means becoming part of Staten Island history.
